THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: `Parikrama - A Journey through Design Details’, a presentation on design and architecture by Karan Grover, Prem Nath and Samira Rathod, three of the leading architects in the country, was held at Hilton Garden Inn here on Sunday.
Speaking at the function, organised by Designer Publications Kerala on the occasion of the first anniversary of ‘Design Detail’, an architecture magazine, Grover appreciated the rich tradition in architecture seen in Kerala and noted that it is a pattern that can be followed by the whole world.
Grover, who is also the chief editor of the magazine, spoke about the way ahead for the magazine. “It is our endeavour to make the magazine one of the premier magazines in design in the country. We will conduct such presentations in eight cities across India as part of this,” he said.
The May-July quarterly issue of the magazine was also released during the function by architect A Dharma Keerthi, who handed over a copy to P Ramachandran, chairman of Indian Plumbing Association, Kerala Chapter.
L Gopakumar, managing director of Designer Publications Kerala, associate editor Binu Johnson, group editor Rema S Kartha, architect Mahesh N and Indian Institute of Architects national council member Sudhir B, among others, were present.
