THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An old woman who got hit by a stone from a quarry on Monday died at the Medical College Hospital early on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Ratnamma, 74, of Vilappilsala.According to Vilappilsala police, the incident occurred when she was on her way to a nearby house.

A woman died after she was pushed to the floor while trying to save her son and son-in-law during an altercation with three persons who had barged into their house. The deceased was Sarasu, 65, of Lakshamveedu Colony, Chonanvila in Palode.
