THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Velar Services Society and Paramparagatha Manpathra Thozhilali Federation said they would support UDF only if the state government takes swift action on various suggestions put forth by them.
“We have raised several demands which include resuming the pension given to traditional pottery workers. We have also asked the government to consider giving other benefits. Now, huge income has to be given while bringing clay from outside. It has to be repealed,” said Neduvathur Chandrasekharan, general secretary of Kerala Velar Service Society.
