KTDC's 'Palaruvi' to be Reopened Today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Tourism Development Corporation’s Motel Araam at Palaruvi in Kollam district will be re-opened on Wednesday after the completion of the renovation work.

KTDC chairman Vijayan Thomas will inaugurate the motel’s commercial operations on its premises at 11.30 am on Wednesday.

The motel is situated on the Kollam- Shenkottai Road and it has a restaurant, toilet facilities for women and gents, a room for refreshment and ample car parking facility.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a hygienic environment, a release from KTDC has said.The working hours of the motel will be from 7 am to 10 pm and it is situated at a distance of 13 km from the famous Thenmala Eco Tourism Project site.

KTDC has 11 motels under the Aaram series on the sides of highways in Kerala.

This is in addition to the seven premium hotels, eight budget hotels and 13 Tamarind properties.
