Success Knocks Twice at Arjun's Door
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Arjun Balgovind of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, who bagged the second rank in the recent CBSE Plus Two examinations, is on cloud nine. The youngster has now upped the ante, by topping the Kerala engineering entrance examinations.
Though the 18-year-old was expecting a place among the top ten, getting the first rank was a pleasant surprise. The teen seems ecstatic after his recent performance.
Sujatha, Arjun’s mother is thrilled as well with her son’s victory. She says the household has become busy with calls and visits from neighbours and relatives. When quizzed if the family is planning to celebrate the success, she chuckles and says, “Ever since he has come second in the CBSE Plus Two exams, I have been going around distributing sweets to family, friends and neighbours. To be frank, right now, we haven’t got any time to celebrate”.
