THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani will inaugurate Rakshabandhan celebrations in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday.
The Union Minister, who will arrive by a private aircraft, will reach Central Stadium by 11 am. After the programme, she is scheduled to return by 1 30 pm.
BJP state spoksesman V V Rajesh said several state-level leaders, including O Rajagopal and state president V Muralidharan, Sangh Pariwar outfits and BJP women workers would attend the programme.
