THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:The Kerala State Co-operative Bank, which is celebrating its centenary during 2015-16 is offering drastic reduction in interest rates on gold loans, the bank stated, the other day. As part of the ‘Onam bonanza’, the bank will offer a 10.25 per cent interest on gold loans up to three months and 10.50 per cent interest for a period between 3 months and 6 months. The interest rate will be 11 per cent for loans above 6 months up to one year. The new interest rates will kick in from August 15.
