THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Theosa, the former students’ association of Mar Theophilus Training College, will organise its silver jubilee celebrations on Saturday. The programme will be held at the college auditorium. Members of the 1990-91 batch will be honoured on the occasion. A ‘guruvandanam’ programme to honour the faculty will also be held. As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the college, a meeting of cultural leaders and an essay competition for the ‘Theosa Award 2016’ will also be held. The topic for the essay competition is ‘Higher Education - Challenges and Solutions’. The last date for submitting the essays, not exceeding 10 pages, is December 30.
