THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) will continue its stir against Government’s decision to implement the master plan drafted for the capital city.
Addressing a news conference here on Tuesday, BJP state secretary V V Rajesh said that though the master plan was prepared by the state government, the Thiruvananthapuram corporation, instead of opposing it, is trying to implement it much to the inconvenience of the residents in the capital city.
“It may be noted that the government has introduced the master Plan. But the Corporation seems to be the one more interested in implementing it,” Rajesh pointed out.
He pointed out that if the Master Plan is implemented it will seriously affect the life of the citizens as they will not be able to construct houses and other buildings. He also alleged that this is as a part of a conspiracy hatched by Mayor V K Prasant, M A Vahid MLA and CPM secretary Kadakampally Surendran that violence is being unleashed on BJP workers.
