THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan has asked the Vigilance Director to order a quick verification (QV) against Minister Adoor Praksh, who was “behind the handing over of the backwater frontage land to the resort groups under the cover of the Landless Free Kerala project”. He also offered to provide evidence in this regard, if necessary. Achuthanandan pointed out that the price of the land offered to the government at Sholayar in Palakkad would not be enough to purchase even a single cent of land at Mararikkualm in Alappuzha.
