THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prof V Ramadas, 78, former Secretary of Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, died here on Tuesday.
The body will be kept at his residence at 3H 6 Heera Kinara, opp State Bank of India, on the Kesavadasapuram-Ulloor Road, between 8 am and 9:30 am and at Gandhi Bhavan between 10 am and 10:30 am on Thursday for the public to pay homage.
The cremation will be held at Shantikavadam at 11:30 am on Thursday. He is survived by wife Valsala, sons R Radhakrishnan (R&D Head at In10s, Secunderabad), R Rajagopal (Deputy editor, ‘The Telegraph’, Kolkata), daughter Beena Anil Kumar(teacher at GVHSS, Malampuzha), son-in-law Anil Kumar (librarian at Sanskrit University) and daughters-in-law Geetha and Mini.
