THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state general secretary Shobha Surendran on Tuesday said political murders being carried out by the CPM in the state are a result of the rivalry between Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. While attending a presser here, Shobha said the peace talks convened by the Chief Minister are a farce as the party cadre resort to violence on the same day itself.

“The post of CPM state secretary has itself turned out to be a rubber stamp. Pinarayi Vijayan is playing the double role of the Chief Minister and the party secretary. It is out of this desperation Kodiyeri Balakrishnan is calling his cadre to unleash violence in the state,” Shobha said.
Criticising the advertisement campaign by the state government in national dailies, the BJP state general secretary said the LDF Government is using public money for unnecessary things.
