There’s a surprise in store for Beatlemaniacs, who will congregate at the Travancore Hall, South Park Hotel, on Saturday evening for a tribute to the legends of rock music.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There’s a surprise in store for Beatlemaniacs, who will congregate at the Travancore Hall, South Park Hotel, on Saturday evening for a tribute to the legends of rock music. The event, organised by ‘Baby Boomers: Hard Days Night,’ will feature singer Mary Muscroft, as well as Aravinth and Cyriac from Bangalore. The best of Beatles will be presented by city-based band 12th Bar which will include the evergreen A Hard Days Night, Hey Jude, Yesterday, Twist and Shout, I saw her standing there, Eight days a week and many more.

The programme will be held from 7 pm to 10.30 pm. The event will also have a section where the audience can turn singers. The singing sensation of the sixties, the Beatles -  John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr - have often been labelled the best rock band ever.
