Interests of government staff will be protected: CM

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reiterated that his regime will not take any decision which is against the interests of employees.

VIJAYAWADA: Denying the reports that the State government is going to introduce performance indicators and other rules to limit the service of employees to 30 years, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reiterated that his regime will not take any decision which is against the interests of employees. He said that the government will also announce the payment of pending arrears of Dearness Allowance during the cabinet meeting scheduled for Thursday.


When leaders of several employees associations under the leadership of JAC State president P Ashok Babu called on him at the Interim Government Complex in Velagapudi on Wednesday and explained to him the apprehensions of employees following the media reports that the government was going to reduce the retirement age and also contemplating introducing performance indicators and other new rules, Naidu made it clear that the government will not take any decision against the employees’ interests. 
According to Ashok Babu, the Chief Minister lauded the services of government staff.
