Study Geostatistics in Ecological Modelling

IIT-Kharagpur is offering Geostatistics in Ecological Modelling for their International Summer and Winter Term. This course is organised to introduce participants to the application of geostatistics to ecological data for spatial modelling. It provides practical information and exposure to powerful and sophisticated modelling tools for data analysis, correlation, significance testing, including ordination.

Eligibility: Ecologists, Geologists, Mining or Natural Resources Scientists/students and faculty.

Fee: Industry/Research organisations/Students: Any of two modules: Rs 15,000/all modules: Rs 25,000 and for academic institutions: All modules : Rs 10,000 | Duration: Basis Geostatistics and Data Analysis using R: November 24 – 29/Geostatistical Modeling using ArcGIS software: December 1- 6 (The material in each module is independent and self-contained and can be taken in either or both combinations).
