Azim premji univ ug courses in july 2015

Azim Premji University announces the launch of its undergraduate programme commencing July 2015. This programme will be offered at their campus in Bangalore and will be a full-time, three-year, residential programme leading to a degree in Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc). Specialisations offered will be in the Humanities (combined History, Literature and Philosophy), Sciences (Physics, Biology) and Social Sciences (Economics, Politics). Scholarships for ghc conference

The Anita Borg Institute (ABI), a non-profit organisation focused on the advancement of women in computer science and engineering, is offering a student scholarship applications — GHC India Student Scholarship Program — for participation at the fifth-edition of 2014 Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) of Women in Computing India conference, that will take place from November 19-21. Women students of Computer Science and Engineering can apply for the scholarship to attend the conference. Scholarship application is open till October 15. Semiconductor technology and manufacturing

A course on ‘Semiconductor Technology and Manufacturing’ introduced jointly by IIT-Bombay and Applied Materials in 2012, will soon enter its third edition, starting November 10. The seven-day course is offered through IIT-Bombay’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP), and is intended for working professionals in the semiconductor industry, research scientists, technical staff and academics. Faculty members from IIT-Bombay will deliver lectures along with industry professionals from Applied Materials. The lab sessions will be held at the IIT-Bombay Nanofabrication Facility, Electrical Engineering Department and Applied Materials Nanomanufacturing Lab. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a CEP certificate from the institute. Those with a diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering are eligible to apply.
