MICA invites applications from transgenders
After a recent SC ruling this April that recognises transgenders as ‘third gender’, MICA has decided to include transgenders in its application process, for its next academic year. To begin with, MICA will be applying this decision to its three major residential programmes, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications (PGDM-C), the Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Crafting Creative Communications (PGCP-CCC) and the Fellow Programme in Management-Communications (FPM-C). Its online programmes will soon follow suit. Admissions will still be based on merit. Having flagged off its application process for the 2015-17 PGDM-C batch, offering 180 seats in total, MICA will be considering online applications till January 18, 2015.
