Focused on Fitness

TrainwithNair, an online coaching website, sells personalised training and customised diet plans.

BENGALURU: Bangalore-based entrepreneur Shreejith Nair found new realms of inspiration when he decided to get fit after a surgery. The surgery, he says, was to correct his clubfoot. The surgery rendered him obese as he indulged in unhealthy eating habits during the recovery period.

The 30-year-old new age entrepreneur then started TrainwithNair.com, an online coaching website that sells personalised training and fully customised diet plans. Before working with Gold’s gym as a personal trainer for two years, he was a Game Manager at Acclaim Games. Shreejith says, “The biggest advantage with training under us is the following: cost, affordability, flexibility and high-level personal accountability. With five different packages to choose from, it offers affordable fitness solutions to different people.

Shreejith is also Certified Lifestyle Weight Management Consultant and Certified Personal Trainer certified by the American Council on Exercise. He is currently pursuing a Fitness Business Management course from the Washington State University, US. TrainwithNair.com was started on December 9, 2014. His clients are registered with the online personal trainer app Trainerize where clients can track their progress, workout, body stats and it also has exercise videos. Trainerize is a very popular fitness app for fitness professionals who are into online training.

A check-in feature available on the app makes people accountable and allows Shreejith to track their progress. The dietary app lists the food his clients are supposed to eat. The list is prepared by him after noting their goals and preferences. It allows Shreejith to monitor his client’s daily food intake and make any changes if necessary.

Shreejith has had more than 33 clients now and is aiming to sell 250 more packages by the end of this year. “To see that I could change the lives of many people is extremely satisfying,” says Shreejith.

He hits the gym daily for 90 minutes and is planning to launch a recipe book that contains easy-to-prepare protein rich recipes with the macronutrients listed. He says that making a client achieve their dream body is what gives him the biggest high.

TrainwithNair was able to sell around six packages on the first day and “that was something very motivating,” he quips. A personalised workout plan costs `1,500 while a  diet plan costs `1,800 and other packages go upto `3,750. TrainwithNair reaches out to potential clients via social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. He is also planning to start video blogging and also believes in the power of email marketing. With clients from Dubai, Sri Lanka and other countries, he believes in hard work and starting from the very bottom.
