British council’s hornby scholarships

Managed by the British Council, The Hornby Educational Trust offers scholarships to study a one-year full-time Master’s in an English Language Teaching (ELT) related subject in the UK. The selection will be done on a regional basis in South Asia. Apply by January 30. Graduates with at least five years of experience of teaching English and who have been involved in some sort of developmental work as trainers or managers can apply for the grant. Intellipaat launches data science course

Intellipaat, an e-learning platform has launched an online 20 hours course in Data Science that comes with 40 hours of project work and hands-on exercises. National engineering challenge 2015

Gate Academy in association with Olx presents the National Engineering Challenge 2015 to identify and recognise students with high intellect and academic talent in the field of engineering. The contest has been trifurcated in three different rounds — preliminary, zonal and final. The preliminary rounds will be conducted online and are scheduled between February 1 and 15, and March 1 from 9 am to 9:30 am. Hundred winning students from 50 centres will be given free classroom coaching programmes worth Rs 25,000.
