Vision Research Foundation, Chennai, has announced a symposium on Sanger to Next Generation Sequencing – The Genomics Era. Sponsored by Indian Council for Medical Research’s Department of Science and Technology and Department of Bio-technology, the symposium will be held at Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai. The two day symposium will explore why genome analysis is vital in clinical decision making, prognosis and personalised medicine. The symposium would offer an in-depth coverage of the areas of mapping and candidate gene screening, current trends of molecular diagnosis and the clinical significance of gene testing.

Learn aspects of Coal Inspection

NACE International, an authorised provider of Continuing Education Units by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), is offering a Coating Inspector Program (CIP) Level 1 course on Coating Inspection. This is a six-day course that offers 60 hours of instruction on the technical and practical fundamentals of coating inspection work for structural steel projects. The course will be conducted at Hotel Meluha in Mumbai | Eligibility: It is open to all graduates and students or to anyone who wants to become NACE Coating Inspector Level 2–Certified.
