All students believe that after completing an assessment or taking a test, they can be done with learning. Actually, learning begins here. Students should develop strategies to revisit their paper and identify the area that they need to improve on.
Performance vs preparation Analyse how much effort you had put in and what the final result is. What you did right in terms of hours of preparation and what you could have done better.
2)Take feedback from faculty Meet the faculty personally and discuss your paper with him/her to see what you could have done better. 3) Retain study material
Your current study material, question and answer sheets give you an idea about the pattern of assessment and you can refer to them in future.
4) Self-referenced evaluation will help analyse what preparation strategies worked and which ones were ineffective.
5) Face failures logically
Do not become emotional when analysing your performance. Identify what went wrong and begin implementing changes.
You may seek advice from students who performed well. Ask them about their preparation strategies. You may also discuss with your mentor what you could have done different in order to improve your performance.
