GATEFORUM students shine in GATE 2016

The results of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE’16) were announced recently. Mohit Goel, CEO GATEFORUM, said that the students of GATEFORUM have performed exceedingly well in the test. From the results obtained so far, GATEFORUM students Ronika Goswami secured the coveted All India Rank 1 in Chemical Engineering while Debangshu Chatterjee secured All India Rank 2 & Pooja Kulkarni secured All India Rank 3 in the Computer Science Engineering stream. In all, 11 students of GATEFORUM secured ranks in the TOP 10 and more than 70 students secured ranks in the TOP 100 this year. Also, 5 of these toppers from GATEFORUM have scored a perfect 1000 / 1000

TALENTIA 2016 at Easwari Engg College

Talentia, the students' cultural extravaganza was celebrated at the Easwari Engineering college open air theatre. The function was presided over by T S Sridhar, Director, Ramapuram & Tiruchy campus. The principal also advised the students to make use of this opportunity and bring out their hidden talents. The chief guest for the function N Lingusamy, Film Director & Producer, in  his address, complimented the college in arranging cultural functions, which is giving an opportunity to the students to bring out their talents and boost their motivation

Greenwood High Student Awarded National Honoree

Greenwood High International School student Nikhiya Shamsher has won a Gold medal and awarded with the stature of ‘National Honoree’ at the Pramerica Spirit of Community Awards 2016 held at New Delhi recently. As a ‘National Honoree’, Nikhiya has now been invited to Washington DC to represent India in the felicitation events for Spirit Honorees from participating countries all over the world to be held in May 2016. She will also be honored at a gala event at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC. Nikhiya will also visit US Senators on Capitol Hill, share her experiences and ideas with the Spirit Honourees from other countries

BJB College Hosts Farewell Party; Seminar on Team Building

The first year PM&IR students of BJB Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar bid farewell to their senior second year students recently. The farewell party was preceded by a seminar on 'Team Building & Employee Motivation' . Among the invitees present were Lenin Mohanty and the Reader of the Department of Commerce of the College Professor Rajendra Parichha, who is also the Coordinator of PM&IR. The function was conducted under the active supervision of the Programme Director Santosh Bej and Department Head Prof Himanshu Sekhar Sahu

Australian Team Visits Film School at Hyderabad

Annapurna International School of Film & Media (AISFM), Hyderabad held an interactive session with Robyn Kershaw and David Redman from Australia, wherein they shared their experiences with the students. The students on their part, asked questions and gained a great insight into their working styles and methods. David Redman is CEO and one of the founders of Redman Entertainments’ subsidiary, the Instinct Entertainment media group Robyn Kershaw is a producer and company director with RKP, a film and TV production company

TISS Announces Vocational Courses

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) announces the launch of 'School of Vocational Education' in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore designed for marginalised youth. The institute offers courses beginning with Diploma leading to Bachelor of Vocational Degree. ITM Organises Confluence '16
