Sunny Leone, about Indian fans

She has been in the news ever since her entry into the reality show Bigg Boss. And, after that, there has been no looking back for Indo-Canadian adult film actress Sunny Leone. With Jism 2, her debut film in Bollywood, raking in the moolah, she’s now gearing up to give Katrina and Kareena a run for their money.

How was your experience working in 'Jism 2'?

The experience was wonderful. I learnt a lot from Pooja — about acting and about Bollywood.

What do you like about India?

There is one thing which is very unique and nice about Indians because India is the only country where people are so passionate about cinema. It is probably their way to escape reality. I really like that.

How did you manage your dialogues in Hindi?

I spent two hours everyday on learning and practising my dialogues for the film. Because of that, once the shooting began, Hindi was probably the easiest thing.

Tell us a little about your co-stars in 'Jism 2'.

Randeep (Hooda) is a very serious actor. He always stays in character, a quality which is very difficult to find. Arunoday (Singh) is one of those guys who will walk into a room and make people laugh. He and I had a lot of fun working together. Soon as we would finish a shot, we would high five each other and laugh out loud (laughs).

Do you like to dance?

I love to dance and if I get to dance in any of my future films, I would definitely go for it.

Do you have any favourite actor/actress from Bollywood?

Salman Khan is very entertaining to watch. It is amazing how he manages to appeal to each and everyone in the country. Apart from him, there’s Katrina Kaif, who is very inspiring. She is an inspiration for people from different countries — that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible and can be achieved.

Do you watch Hindi films?

I have watched a few. But now I have a made a long list of movies that I will watch once I go home.

There was information that you have been granted Indian citizenship. Is that true?

I am now an Overseas citizen of India. Since my parents lived here, I could apply for this. So, I applied for it before we started shooting for 'Jism 2'. And, it was a great feeling to receive a call informing that my application had been approved.

How did 'Bigg Boss' happen?

I got a call from them last year. My initial reaction was no. But, my husband (Daniel Weber) asked me to give it a try and I did.

What plans next?

I will go back home (Los Angeles) and finish my Hindi diction and dance classes.

Any films in the pipeline?

A lot of things are going on, but nothing that can be revealed. But, I assure you that definitely I will be in India for many years to come.

Any Telugu films?

Not yet. Only Hindi films for now.

Any message for your fans?

Please go and watch 'Jism 2'. And, I would like to thank the people of India for the amount of love and warmth that they have given me.
