Local boy on Bigg Boss

He won over Salman Khan by his wit, charm and instant responses. When Salman asked him as to why he should be selected, he said, “Salman sir, aap jis par bhi haat rakhte ho, woh pathar bhi heera ban jaata hai, toh aap mere sar pe bhi yeh haat rakh do” (whatever you put your hand on, turns to gold, so please give me your blessings).

And that is how city-based Khasif Qureshi found his way on to the latest season of Bigg Boss. Picked among thousands of applicants to fill the commoner slot on the series, Khasif got the best response from the on ground audience with his name being cheered the loudest.

When asked about rubbing shoulders with 14 other celebrities and being under surveillance 24x7, Khasif said, “I’m a common man, I’ve nothing to hide and the whole idea of exposing myself on national television doesn’t scare me at all as I’ve nothing to hide unlike the other celebrities.

According to me, nobody in the Bigg Boss house is a celebrity but a puppet of reality under the Bigg Boss eye.” While his popularity is encouraging for now, it is yet to be seen if he will survive amongst drama that is typically Bigg Boss style over the next 98 days.
