Sudeep

Popular Kannada actor Sudeep has requested his friends and fans to ignore a fake Facebook account that is active in his name. “Some one who has created the page has been posting derogatory remarks and pictures about prominent people,” he said.

Sudeep, who shot to fame in Tamil with his recently-released flick Naan Ee, in which he played the villain, says “It seems like a deliberate attempt by some miscreants to tarnish my name among the public.”.

According to him, some of his tweets have been posted on this account.

Sudeep says several actors like him have had similar experiences before and has requested those who attempt to bring disrepute to celebrities to refrain from such acts.

Several movie stars have been targeted with fake social media accounts in their names and the list of the K-town faces includes Silambarasan and Trisha.
