As his movie Go Goa Gone hits screens today, actor Kunal Khemu tells us about his role and his next big movie.
Welcome to Zombieland

Acting happened by accident for actor Kunal Khemu. The son of noted television director Ravi Khemu, he had never planned to enter cinema, but  then came the TV serial Gul Gulshan Gulfaam. He was later roped in as a child artist with Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla for Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke. His first film, Kalyug, was with Mahesh Bhatt  and went on to do movies like Traffic Signal, Golmaal 3 and now, Go Goa Gone. We speak to the actor:

Tell us about your role in Go Goa Gone?

My character Hardik, is characterless. He always says the wrong things at the wrong time. He has a lot of fun and is politically incorrect.

What made you agree to this concept?

The concept was born when I was with the directors. It was a great idea and I wanted to be a part of the film, which is a first in the country. We spent a lot of time in coffee houses, hotels, our houses and we worked on it, till it took shape. I have no idea how the critics are going to respond to this.

Upcoming movie?

Bhaag Johnny, a thriller, where I play the lead.
