Get Set for Adrenaline Rush with Khatron Ke Khiladi - Season 5

Rohit-Shetty.jpgAfter the promos of the show have gone on air, it is evident that it is not  the real Khiladi Akshay Kumar but filmmaker Rohit Shetty who will be hosting Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5. Shetty, because he is expected to add a comic angle to this adventurous reality show. After churning out several hundred crores at the box office,  Shetty, who  is all set for his new innings says the new season promises a combination of stunts and entertainment packaged in a new way.

“When action and comedy come together, they create amazing entertainment. This show also has everything that will entertain you. I was convinced because of the different format as it has a lot of action combined with entertainment”, he said.

Shetty has earlier hosted a season of reality show Big Switch on Bindaas channel but this seems to be a full length innings on the small screen.

Season 5 will be known as Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi: Darr Ka BlockBuster.  Nethra Raghuraman became the winner of the first edition of Khatron ke Khiladi  that began in 2008.

This season has a theme of Jungle Safari where  12 contestants will be seen competing against each other in South Africa.

From Daya of CID  to Rochelle Maria  and Gurmeet Choudhury and his wife Debina Banerjee of  Nach Baliye 6 fame, many contrasting characters will be seen competing against each other.

Big Boss 7 participants Kushal Tandon, Gauhar Khan and Ajaz Khan will also be a part of the show.

Khatron Ke Khiladi is all set to take you on an adrenaline rush ride in March from South Africa.
