MUMBAI: Mumbai-based actress Prachi Kadam will be seen next sharing the screen with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar in Bachchan Pandey. Kadam has also starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali produced song ‘Udhal Ho’.
She’s been a part of ‘My Father’s Dream’, the story of a daughter fulfil her father's dream. Kadam has also featured in a commercial for Maggi.
Prachi will be playing the role of young Kriti Sanon in Bachchan Pandey. Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, it stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi. It is a remake of the 2014 Tamil film ‘Jigarthanda’ which itself was inspired by the 2006 South Korean movie ‘A Dirty Carnival’.The film is scheduled to release theatrically on March, 18, 2022.
