LONDON: Continuing to blow past Box-Office records, ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ has now become the fastest film to make 1 billion dollars in just 12 days.
Prior to this, ‘Jurassic World’ was holding the title, crossing the 1 billion dollar-threshold in 13 days, the Independent reported.
The J. J. Abrams directorial also had the biggest Christmas Day Box Office takings in history, making 49.3 million dollars, and the best second-weekend earnings, making 153.5 million dollars.
‘The Force Awakens’ hit the Indian theatres on December 25.
