WASHINGTON: Singer Aaron Carter, who was arrested in Georgia on Saturday under suspicion of driving under the influence and marijuana possession, has now shared some harsh words for his older brother, Nick Carter.

Earlier on Sunday, ‘Backstreet Boys’ star Nick, reached out to his brother via Twitter, writing, "To my brother: I love u no matter what & if u feel the need to reach for help, I am here and willing to help you get better. Family isn't always easy, we're all here for you."

Aaron, it seems, was unimpressed with Nick’s chosen means of communication.

He replied to Nick’s comment in a statement through his representative, saying, "If my own blood (Nick) truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn’t he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum? That’s not cool at all to use me for his PR and kick me while I am down."

As part of the same statement, he also thanked his fans for their prayers and support and spoke out regarding his side of the story.
