Winter is coming! The next season of the fantasy TV show Game of Thrones will premiere on July 16 this year, HBO announced on the show's official Facebook page on Friday.
Before announcing the premiere date, the page ran a Live video with over 90, 000 fans watching three fire-spitting dragons melt a block of ice to reveal the date. The fans' eagerness to watch the next season of the hit show was evident in the frustration of this one comment:
The Live video of the melting ice had over 180,000 comments and 16, 490 shares. Characters on the show such as Cersie and Jamie Lannister appeared on the screen requesting the viewers to type 'fire' and 'DRACARYS' in the comment box to know the premiere date.
