Director Sriram Raghavan's "Badlapur" is surely one of the most exciting medium-budget films of 2015. There are many reasons for that. Firstly, we see Varun Dhawan in a completely new avatar. He seems to have very easily slipped into the role of a coldblooded revengeful man, from the lover boy roles he had done so far.

Secondly, it has Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who looks menacing, pitted against the young actor.

Sriram, who made the cult thriller "Johnny Gaddar" is rearing to go as he comes back into his favorite territory after making a disappointing "Agent Vinod."

The film also stars Yami Gautam, Huma Qureshi and Divya Dutta.
