Prachi Desai has had her flops – I Me Aur Main and Policegiri in 2013. But now the actress has started working on two more films - Farhan Akhtar’s sequel of her debut film, Rock On and Ekta Kapoor’s production, Azhar.
The actress is excited about playing former cricket captain Azharuddin’s wife Naureen in his biopic. “I have never played a real-life character before. I play a woman who people are aware of but who they don’t really know. This is the chance. They will get to know her through me. This role is challenging because it is the only way people will get to see her,” Prachi revealed.
Talking about Rock On 2, Prachi said, “This film will be a challenge for all of us because we have to make it better than our earlier film.”
The actress, who turned 27 on September 3, is expecting things to get better in the future. “There were some amazing things I was looking forward. Some independent films like Badtameez Dil (with Emraan Hashmi), didn’t take off and I lost precious time. I do very selective films and that is why I do l few films.”
