There was a time (2012 & 2013) when Sonakshi Sinha was seen in as many as a four films a year. But the actress has now become choosy. So much so that Sonakshi has not had a single release in the last 15 months since Tevar (2015)!
But she was busy working on her first heroine-oriented film Akira, which is directed by Murgodass of Ghajini (2008) and Holiday (2014) fame. The film will have Sonakshi performing stunt scenes for the first time. “It was quite a gruelling shoot,” she says. Akira is in post production now. The release date will be announced soon.
