After scoring in comedies like Delhi Belly and Go Goa Gone, Vir Das will appear in the sex comedy Mastizaade along with Sunny Leone.

Is Mastizaade your first sex comedy?

Yes this is my first sex comedy. I have never done a commercial masala film and I have also not done this kind of comedy before. I was waiting for this perfect package where the script, the director and actress is good.

It’s interesting that you describe Sunny Leone as a good actress.

Mastizaade.jpgSunny is seriously very funny. When you will see the film, you will not believe that this is her first comedy film. After watching the film, that’s what you will talk about when it comes to Sunny. She is too good.

Was there a streak of competition between your co-star Tusshar Kapoor and you?

Tusshar is a very chilled out guy. We would party at nights and then go to the gym together. The best part is that when you are doing a film like this nobody is very serious; we just had fun on this film.

In the film are you the regular guy or are you naughty?

I am very naughty in Mastizaade.

Mastizaade is releasing at around the same time as anther sex comedy Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 What do you have to say about the comparisons being made between the two?

You make any film, it will be compared to some other film -- that’s the nature of the industry we work in. You have to compete and make your own mark. The flavour of our film is different. You haven’t seen Tusshar (Kapoor) and me in a film together, you haven’t seen Sunny (Leone) in a double role. So many different fan bases and many different flavours are coming together in one film. I am pretty sure that you will have fun watching Sunny, Tusshar  and me in very different avatars altogether.
