Amy Jackson roped in for `Half Girlfriend`

Amy Jackson has joined Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in Mohit Suri’s directorial ‘Half Girlfriend.’

NEW DELHI: British model and actress Amy Jackson has joined Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in Mohit Suri’s directorial ‘Half Girlfriend.’

The leading daily DNA quoted a source, as saying, “Amy plays Samantha Myers, from Bill Gates Foundation, who comes to India with Gates to fund schools in villages. One of the schools in Buxar, Bihar is run by Madhav’s mother Rani Sahiba (Seema Biswas) and it's for that school that Madhav and Riya contact Samantha for. Amy plays an important part in the second half of the film.”

Amy, 24 was last seen in the 2015 movie ‘Singh is Bliing’ alongside Akshay Kumar

Based on the novel ' Half Girlfriend' by Chetan Bhagat, the movie will see Arjun portraying the role of national-level basketball player, Madhav Jha.

The film is currently being shot in Delhi and will hit theatres on April 28, 2017.
