Kangana Ranaut has lived her life and undertaken her Bollywood journey on her own terms. She says she lives for her freedom.
“There are all kinds of people out there. Few live for admiration, few live for money, few just for the sake of living. I live for my freedom,” Kangana declared at the launch of Grazia magazine’s 100th issue.
She added, “It means a lot to me to be able to say what I feel is the right thing, and to do what I want to do. Just being my own person means a lot to me. That’s the only thing I live for ... nothing else.”
Asked to name her style icon in the industry, Kangana tipped her hat at all stylists. “These days everyone is stylish because of these unsung heroes who incessantly work on actors’ style and glamour,” she acknowledged.
“Apart from that, Rhea and Sonam are doing really well in the world of style and glamour. So they keep all of us very engaged, I am inspired by their style.”
Kangana defines style as “your interpretation of the world; how you perceive it. Fashion is an extension of yourself.”
