Huma Qureshi to star in 'Jolly LLB 2' opposite Akki

Huma and Akshay would be teaming up for the first time, will reportedly kick-off the shooting in Lucknow next month.

NEW DELHI: Actress Huma Qureshi has been reportedly roped in for ‘Jolly LLB 2` opposite Akshay Kumar.

“Akshay really liked the script and Huma came on board a fortnight ago after she cleared a look test,” the leading daily Mumbai Mirror quoted a source.

Huma and Akshay, who would be teaming up for the first time, will reportedly kick-off the shooting in Lucknow next month.

Actor Saurabh Shukla, who essayed the role of a judge in the first installment, would be seen in a special appearance in the sequel alongside Arshad Warsi.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ is slated to release next year.

The film’s first installment starred Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani and Saurabh Shukla in prominent roles.
