While David Dhawan has always been plus-sized, his son Varun Dhawan is one of the fittest actors today. Varun admits, “The most difficult person to take to the gym is my dad,” but if the young actor has his way, a revolutionary change can be expected soon.
Varun reveals, “Since my elder brother (director Rohit Dhawan) is married, I had to threaten dad by asking, ‘Do you want to see your grandchildren or not?’” Fortunately, the persuasion and threats seem to be working. “Dad has started going to the gym and for walks and swimming. He has lost a little weight,” Varun smiles.
