Begin my day with Barley water when I am on a diet. Otherwise it is masala chai which I know is a big diet no-no. For breakfast I have either eggs or poha.
I am non-vegetarian and love food made by my mom and nani. Mom makes amazing cabbage kootu and nani makes superb smoked mutton.
Lunch is Sabzi, dal with brown rice or roti.
It’s either a sandwich or hummus and pita depends on where I am and what’s available.
Dinner is Veggies and dal when I am home.
Favourite dessertsJalebis, rasmalai and creme caramel.
I run or do yoga and some lightweight training.
Idea of a romantic meal
Non-messy food aids romance. You don’t want to be struggling with messy noodles or pieces of meat while trying to impress your date.
I can cook
Prawn curry and guacamole.
My mom. Everything she makes is fabulous, but her dosas, aaloo sabzi and coconut chutney are to die for.
Spice I resemble
Cinnamon – sweet and yet spicy and never boring and the effect lingers.
Childhood memory associated with food
I remember my classmates would eat the pizza and kebab rolls which my mom would pack for my tiffin.
