Nathan Jones was very sweet, replied quickly: Remo D'Souza

With a string of successful films behind him (ABCD 2 being the latest), choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza is now expanding his horizons. For his latest film A Flying Jatt (with Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandes), the director has pencilled in international star Nathan Jones, famous for being part of the 2015 blockbuster Mad Max: Fury.

Ask Remo why he cast Nathan Jones as the villain and he explains. “Our superhero, as played by Tiger Shroff, is very innocent, young and normal. I wanted a superhero who is innocent and adorable and who has powers but don’t know how to use them. So we wanted a supervillian who is huge. The idea is that people should wonder how the superhero will win over this supervillian. So when I saw his character in Mad Max, I decided that I wanted this man anyhow for my film.”

Remo didn’t have to jump through hurdles to cast the strongman-wrestler either. He says, “I approached him and he replied very sweetly and quickly.”
