MUMBAI: Filmmaker Karan Johar had launched three new actors with "Student of the Year", and this time its sequel might have actor Tiger Shroff as one of the leads.

With "SOTY" Karan introduced son of director David Dhawan - Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.

Now the "My Name is Khan" helmer is gearing up to make a sequel to his 2012 blockbuster directorial venture.

"He (Tiger) has been offered "Student of the Year 2". He is yet to hear the final narration post which he will most likely sign the film. He is quite excited about it (sequel) as its a Karan Johar film," sources said.

There was buzz that actor Shahid Kapoor's younger half-brother Ishaan Khattar and Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara were to play the lead roles in the film. But there is no confirmation on this yet.
