NEW DELHI: Priyanka Chopra attended the annual correspondents’ dinner hosted by US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House.
The 33-year-old actress took to her Instagram account to share a picture with Obama and the First Lady and wrote, “Lovely to meet the very funny and charming @barackobama and the beautiful @michelleobama . Thank you for a lovely evening. Cannot wait to start working on your girls education program #whitehousecorrespondentdinner.”
The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress, who was dressed in a black long-length gown, will also be starting to work on US President’s ‘Girls Education Program’.
Priyanka shared the honour with other Hollywood stars including Bradley Cooper, Lucy Liu, Jane Fonda and Gladys Knight.
The non-profit White House Correspondents’ Association, whose members include reporters, producers, camera operators and other journalists regularly covering the White House, traditionally host this annual dinner to raise money for journalism scholarships.
The ‘Quantico’ actress will also be seen in ‘Baywatch’ alongside Hollywood stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
