INDORE: A local court today dismissed a private complaint seeking prosecution of Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn alleging his upcoming film "Shivaay" hurts religious feelings.

Judicial Magistrate Ashutosh Agrawal dismissed the petition of a city-based organisation against Devgn and Central Board of Film Certification chairman Pahlaj Nihalani.

"Shivaay" is slated to release on October 28.

The petitioner said a song in the film shows scantily dressed girls dancing which hurts the religious feeling of Hindus and sought prosecution of Devgn and Nihalani under sections 295A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings) of IPC.
