MUMBAI: Superstar Salman Khan has not been approached for the third installment of action thriller "Race 3" yet but the makers would love to work with the "Dabangg" star. "We have not narrated any idea to Salman. We are yet to take a call on 'Race 3'.Next year we will decide about the casting and other details of the film," the duo told PTI.

"The writers are working on the script. We haven't heard the story so we can't say anything about casting. There are reports that Salman is going to be part of the third part of the film but the fact is work is in progress so it's too early to say anything," they said.

The first two parts of action thriller film have done well commercially. The first film released in 2008, starring Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna in prominent roles while the sequel, released in 2013. Asked if Saif and Anil will feature in the third part as well, the filmmakers said, "Not decided the characters yet."
