Kangana Ranaut was said to have been keen on doing Ketan Mehta’s Rani Laxmibai. The duo even met and discussed the project couple of times and there were many reports that she has been preparing for it. However latest buzz is that, Kangana has apparently backed out of the fi lm. A source says, “Kangana was interested in playing this powerful role of a Queen of Jhansi.
But now she is apparently not in favour of doing so. She is not showing interest in the project so makers are also unsure of her decision.” It is also said that director Ketan and Kangana had some differences. “Kangana apparently had some issues with the script. She spoke to Ketan about it. But the exact reason of her backing out of the fi lm is not clear,” he adds.
