BANGALORE: Director Om Sai Prakash, who was in the limelight for wrong reasons a few months ago, is all set with one more devotional film - Sri Nagashakthi.

It may be recalled that Prakash had attempted suicide due to an alleged harassment by a financier. He incurred a huge loss when his film Devaru Kotta Thangi, starring Shivarajkumar, bombed at the box office.

Many film analysts predicted that his days are over in Sandalwood. However, Prakash has commenced the shooting of Sri Nagashakthi and is confident about its success at the box office.

"I am very happy that all the artistes have agreed to extend their cooperation for this film without any problems. The script was prepared after studying many books," said Prakash.

Chandrika, who acted as heroine in Golmal Radhakrishna, is the producer of Sri Nagashakthi. It was Prakash, who introduced Chandrika as an artiste with Thaayigobba Tharlemaga. After acting in a few films, Chandrika took a break from Kannada films for quite some time. Apart from providing finance, Chandrika is also playing the role of Nagadevathe. "I agreed to produce the film after looking at its strong and interesting script," said Chandrika.

Ramkumar, who was away from Kannada films for a few years, makes a comeback with Sri Nagashakthi. "I am very happy to act in this film. It gives me an opportunity to meet my friends," he said.

Shruthi plays a key character role in this devotional flick and her niece Kruthi, makes her debut as a child artiste with it. "Prakash Sir always encouraged me by giving good roles. I am playing an important role in this film. I will be very happy if Prakash Sir earns profit out of it," said Shruthi. Tennis Krishna plays the comedian role.
