BANGALORE: Meet Mungaaru Maley fame Pooja Gandhi who is brimming with confidence about the success of her forthcoming film Hare Rama Hare Krishna.

Pooja, known as the first non-Kannada heroine to speak Kannada fluently, is all set to prove her mettle with Hare Rama Hare Krishna.

The reason: Hare Rama Hare Krishna has all ingredients that are necessary to keep the audience glued to their seats while watching it.

Pooja says that she plays a college-going character in this movie.

“I accepted this movie since its script was very interesting. When director C V Ashok Kumar approached me to narrate the script I could not resist his offer to act in this film,” explains Pooja.

Recalling memorable moments during the shooting of Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Pooja says the atmosphere at the shooting location was very appealing.

“One of the songs was picturised at Innovative Film City and it was a nice experience,” says Pooja.

The other USP of this film is the music composed by music maestro Ilayaraja. “I am lucky to have Ilayaraja Sir compose music for my film.

The other important thing is that music director Hamsalekha Sir has penned lyrics for this film,” says Pooja with a smile. Appreciating hard work put in by the hero Murali, Pooja says that all the artistes have made their best efforts to make this movie a memorable one. “I had acted with Murali in Srihari Kathe. Now, it is my second movie with Murali,” says Pooja.

What are Pooja’s expectations from Hare Rama Hare Krishna? “All these years I have been playing the heroine or acting in family-oriented films. Many of my friends and well-wishers used to ask me why not do a commercial film.

Now, Hare Rama Hare Krishna will answer all their queries. It is an out and out commercial flick and I expect my fans encourage me.

I assure the cine-goers that Hare Rama Hare Krishna will not disappoint them when they go the theatres to watch it,” signs off Pooja.
