No heroine has overshadowed me: Daisy

'Crazy Loka' will be Daisy Bopanna’s first film release after her wedding. “I play a role of a teacher and I am the love interest of Ravichandran, the hero of the film,” says Daisy, who is now  shooting for a Tamil movie. “I may not be part of the promotions  as I will be leaving  abroad for a song shoot for my Tamil project,” she said.

Throwing more light on her role in 'Crazy Loka', she said, “It was Ravichandran’s call to me which made me accept the film and I thoroughly enjoyed working for the movie. Ravichandran is amazing and quite an intelligent person. He comes across as a very straight forward person, which is what I like about him.”

Does it matter to Daisy with Ramya taking away the limelight with a special song in 'Crazy Loka'?

“The reason why I am here today is because of myself. I did not enter the industry with any Godfather and I have achieved success on my own. So far, I have been doing good work and no heroine has overshadowed me till today. It doesn’t really matter about the other heroine in the film  as I am confident about myself. She has her space while I have my own. I am not bothered who takes the limelight as such,” said Daisy.

As far as working after marriage, Daisy explains, “It is just a myth nowadays that married heroines will not be accepted as heroines. It depends on a person who wants to deliberately change their way of living, after marriage. Mallika Sherawat was married, had a child and divorced. This is just one example. There are many more heroines who are doing good post their family. In my case, I am really enjoying my career and married life. I am also glad to be part of good films,”  she signed out.
