Everybody loves Parul Yadav. “My role as Mumtaz in Govindaya Namaha made all the difference,” she says. The actress had the privilege of being the most preferred actress for a lot of directors who were ready to shell out a lump sum amount. But the actress chose to be part of Sudeep starrer, Bachchan - The Angry Young Man, the film, which goes on floors this month end. “I’m super excited to be a part of this movie,” says Parul.

The actress who is a huge fan of Sudeep added, “Bachchan... will be directed by Shashank, who is one of the top five directors and the other reason is that I am a huge Sudeep fan. I like the way he carries himself. His on-screen persona and style sense are remarkable. Though, I have never completed watching any of his films, I have seen numerous clippings and songs including some opposite Ramya. Also, his latest songs from Vishnuvardhana are brilliant. I felt he was dashing in the film,” she reveals.

She tasted success with Govindaya Namaha even  though the film had three heroines. Hopefully, the actress will come out with flying colours in Bachchan...too with Deepa Sanniddhi and another leading actress from South India to be part of the film.“I will have my cake and eat it too,” says Parul, who wants to live with the character. “It really doesn’t matter who your co-stars are as long as you do full justice to the character. I don’t wish to grab other’s roles. I just want to keep my director happy with my performance.” Parul will now be seen in a glamorous role. “I was covered from neck to toe as Mumtaz except for one song. This movie will see a complete contrast to my role in Govindaya Namaha. You can expect a different Parul,” she says.
